Go To Your Room!

Remember when your mom said it was time to go to room cause it was bedtime? At like 9pm and still light in the summer?

I bet now most of us wish our mom was telling us that now, right?

Too many of us don't get to bed until well after midnight. "They" say the hours we sleep before midnight are the best sleep hours for our mind. But do we head to our pillows early? I know I struggle to do this.

With our busy lives, sleep is often the first thing to get sacrificed. “It’s such a basic need, but millions of us skimp on it,” says Gretchen Rubin, author of The Happiness Project. “You can’t feel energetic, calm and cheerful if you’re always exhausted.” To get to bed on time, do all the prep -- take out your contacts, brush your teeth, walk the dog, -- long before bedtime so you won’t have any excuses for dawdling.

Make it a positive time to climb in with your favorite book, read a chapter, then close your eyes and meditate for 20 minutes. This shuts down and relaxes the mind and creates the sleep vibe to appear!

I also make it a habit to put a Hypnosis CD in regarding something I may want to create in my life like prosperity or love, or just one to help me relax and sleep deeply. I put my headphones on and go to sleep listening. Have your tried this? It really works!
